✡ Last night at USH we had a party for the birthday for trees, Tu B’Shevat. Please take a moment to say happy birthday to your favorite tree today.
The party was attended by a large group of people and we served home made pancakes, maple syrup from maine, and a collection of fruits corresponding to the 4 worlds of the Kabbalah.
I presented a brief speech about how to get a shade tree in Hoboken. My fellow tree lovers talked about renewable energy, the importance of action, and how the Torah and Talmud guide us in this area.
