Have not heard from you in a while, so I thought I would write. Things good in Maine. G-Mom gave me my first direct complement this morning and patted me on the head. She told me that I was better behaved that Cart or Slobbie and that she never had to yell at me. I do not do “ruggsies” every day, but I do mess up the bed covers. Cart gets blamed for that! I am pretty clever. G-Mom’s schedule is so boring and predictable, that when you are as bright as I am, it is easy to memorize.
Thanks for my meds. Today we are going out after work because the wind has died down. It was really cold here. I guess our car riding days are over because it is warming up. I have one more trip to the vet at the end of the month. I do have another new friend. Mrs. “B” is a hoot! I love to lay down under her cage and watch her. She sings to us. I think she really likes me and she just loves Cart. I remind G-Mom each morning with my snout to uncover Mrs. “B” before she sits down to knit. The bird sings to us all day. G-Mom leaves on the radio during the day when she is gone and Mrs. “B” sings to the music. We listen to the TV at night when we are alone, because we have to listen to the news. Can you believe that G_Mom discusses the news with us? Look the economy has not affected me directly. I still get the same food and treats. I even got sent to camp in Maine for the winter! I do not have retirement plan…do I need one? The information on the TV about some sort of a recession is just so depressing. What is funny though, is that G-Mom talks back to Brian Williams. Strangely he does not answer her. This morning G_Mom was an emotional mess because Lisa sent pictures of Adam and California to the frame in the living room. I just remember him as being some what odd. G_Mom says you are going to visit Adam, Katie and Lisa. You had better take some photos of all of you! G_Mom is always taking pictures of us.
