Have been kind of busy readjusting to “the way life should be in Maine”. These people insist that I pee on the grass. Just how backward can you get?
G-Mom made me go onto the wet grass this morning. Just who wants to spend the whole morning licking their paws clean? Not efficient.
So far my vacation has been fun. I have gotten into a few scrapes but nothing that I have been disciplined for doing. Most of them G_Mom does not know about. As usual Slobbie is not pleased that I am here but Cart has been fun. I have really taught her to become more assertive for the things she wants and now some days she is getting to be a pain. Also G_Mom figured out my water drinking trick so I have had to behave. Get it! I drink water, ring the bell on the door, go out and come into for a bone. Well my getting a bone has been curtailed unless it is a scheduled pee break. So that is the end of excessive water consumption. Nice while it lasted.
I did get the biggest Marrow Bone for my birthday, but after 3 hours, because Slobbie and I cannot behave, G_Mom gathered up the marrow bones. Wish I could control those impulses!
My outside time each day is at least an hour for fresh air because I supposedly need Vitamin D and natural light for my disposition. Also you probably heard that I am back to normal eating habits. G_Mom gives me half as much food but she puts water in it and I have to eat it while Slobbie and Cart are eating. If I don’t finish it, I do not get extra time or any more treats. I guess she is right because all of my stomach issues are gone and the poop situation is normal.
During the day we get radio in our play room and when G_Mom teaches at night we get the TV, so we can listen to the news. We also get our personalized attention time at night. I get my head scratched between my eyes while Slobbie and Cart sit on G_Mom’s lap.
So overall this is not a bad experience. No snow yet and G_Mom says you will be back before the snow flies. I miss you and love you Dad.
