Apparently Dad, pinecones are not for chewing. You never told me, although I should have surmised that if Slobbie and Cart did not take the pinecones off the table they must not be for us to use/chew. G-Mom caught me red pawed. Slobbie and Cart were in the bedroom with her and I was just lounging in the living room, when it just struck me from no where…WOW that looks like fun. Uh HUH……..you would have thought that I broke the family crystal. I guess those things, which I might add did not taste very good, are expensive this year because they are specially cinnamon coated. Slobbie asked me if I was nuts? Of course I had to fess up since I was caught and had to reluctantly go for a “time out”.
Look Dad it is tough with all this stuff around for decorations. There is the new boxwood tree that G-Mom made along with pinecones and plants. This place is like a museum. Slobbie says it is because we spend so much time inside over the winter that the place has to look cozy. Well we got cozy going in every single corner. I try to escape to the bathroom for a break but that smells like cinnamon too. It is tough being a dog during these times. People just don’t seem to understand.
Then I looked in the refrig when G-Mom was putting food away. Wow I have never seen it that full. I guess most of it if for you to snack on while you are here. I saw the peanut butter cups before they were put away and the pretzels. We even took a ride to get the popcorn you like. Wow all we ever get is the same old dog food. G-Mom says we can have a bone on Thanksgiving and that the people food is not good for us.
So Dad I cannot waittttttttttt to see you! This place is nuts.
Love, Ellie
